BEACH BREAK FUERTEVENTURA | SMARTLINE PLAYA PARK

For our first holiday together my girlfriend and I didn’t have huge amounts of money available to spend, oh the joys of being a university student!

After weeks of searching travel sites we finally booked with Thomas Cook, securing an all inclusive stay at Smartline Playa Park in Corralejo.

The hotel is in a prime location, being a five minute walk north to the lovely Corralejo Beach, providing access to the many restaurant and bars, as well as the amazingly clear sea.

There was plenty to do to enjoy the holiday, with a five minute walk to the great Aqua Park, and a range of restaurants and high street shops, including ZARA and Bershka, just a couple minutes away. On our last day we went on one of the many excursions available. Our excursion allowed us to visit the small Lobos Island, walk around and relax on the island and snorkel from the boat in the clear, fish infested waters.

As expected from all inclusive, the hotel’s bar provides a vast range of drinks, cocktails and snacks throughout the day, to chill both in the patio area or to chill with around the pool area. The hotel’s restaurant provided large amounts of choices of food, with some aspects of national themes of food on different nights. Although a bit repetitive at times, I can never complain about having too much food to eat.

Overall our stay at Smartline Playa Park was perfect for our first holiday, and well worth the money. Although I would want to explore and experience the other Canary Islands, I still would highly recommend Playa Park.
